About

How It all began

Blue Falcon Studio is run by Farah Iqbal – Yes that’s me.  I’m a freelancer who likes to work on a variety of interesting projects.

I first started my creative venture in 2006 as Atomic Digital Studio when I graduated from University of Bradford. In 2010 it was launched on Youtube (discontinued) and I explored webdesign to broaden my skills. Finally I settled on the name of Blue Falcon Studio in 2019 as I feel that the falcon represents my keen sharp eyes as a detail oriented and creative person and the colour blue is because it’s a cool colour and a personal preference of mine.

I have worked with companies like the BBC where I was trained to use industry standard software of the time Final Cut Pro to collaborate and produce a short film. I developed a long career in Technical Support in HE institutions as an IT and Audio Visual Technician at University of Huddersfield, IT Support Officer at York St John University and also ICT Technician at Secondary Academies.  I have worked in community settings on video projects as Video Editor and am continuing to build on my talents and expertise as technology rapidly changes.
